Harrumph!

"Yes - it is definitely autumn", ponders Mr. Poole, surrounded by the evidence - "and we all know what is soon to follow - I don't want to think about it!"

£218 Uk Pounds. The last one I saw in bronze the same size, on the internet was expected to fetch about $2000 American. I was giving it away. Really hoped you would get it. I have just lost both my cats through illness and hoped this would pay for a memorial. Ebay is very expensive.

  11. It is here. It would have been so cool to have that cat. Oh well - it was not meant to be. I wonder where the original marble one is - now that would be something...

The end of the story. The Georges Gardet Sevres cat arrived in Japan broken, no doubt after mis-handling by the courier. I have asked for it to be sent back and will have it restored, it was a very expensive mistake for which I have paid dearly. It is going back on display at home.
